As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist my assessments and treatments focus on children between the ages of 2 to 10 years. Therapy is guided by the philosophy that adequate and early intervention can be instrumental in providing children the physical and emotional foundation to lead an effective academic and social life.

I  believe that treatment can be instrumental to the well being of a child who faces challenges with everyday tasks in the home or at school. Sessions focus on children that attend regular pre-school or classroom environments but require some intervention to help them meet their full potential. Assessment and treatment sessions can be carried out in the home or the classroom and involve a variety of play-based activities. Collaboration with the parents and /or teacher are essential to help develop personal goals and recommendations for the child.

          Areas typically addressed are:
          • Fine Motor Skills
          • Visual Motor skills
          • Pre-writing and handwriting skills
          • Sensory Processing
          • Kindergarten Readiness
